Sometime last year, we received a box of yarn donated from an online knitting/crocheting group.  While the donor was from out-of-state, her comments with the donation were very meaningful:

“Thank you and your volunteers for all that you do!  Those little blankets and hats mean a heck of a lot to the parents of babies in the NICU (and others, I’m sure – but I only have experience with the Early Birds). My surrogate twins were born at 34 weeks/3 days and it meant a lot to my intended parents that there were people out there creating things for babies they would never meet (they’re all goopy and sentimental like that) and I was thankful because I know how much goes into making things and know that charity items are created with so much love and good hopes. You people ROCK!  Thank you!”
